🌟 Brodie in a Nutshell 🐾
Gorgeous Brodie is a fun-loving, energetic 4-year-old Sprocker Cross who adores people and thrives on adventure. He loves long walks, off-lead exploring, and beach days, with a playful streak and a big heart to match. Looking for an active home where he can get plenty of attention and companionship, Brodie is ready to bring joy, loyalty, and excitement to his new family!
Ideal Home
Brodie is looking for an active, experienced home where he can truly shine and get all the stimulation he needs. Brodie would be happiest as the only dog , and would suit a family with older, dog-savvy children (12+).
Energy & Exercise:
If you are active, Brodie is a high-energy 4-year-old Sprocker/ Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves getting out and about. He walks well on a harness but does pull strongly, he shines off lead, with good recall even when chasing birds. Due to his current routine, he would benefit from a more active home that can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to match his lively, enthusiastic nature.

Training:
Brodie is a house-trained, well-mannered and understands basic commands like sit and paw, and he’s always gentle when taking treats, showing his sweet, friendly nature alongside his playful energy.
Behaviours:
Brodie is a loving and affectionate boy who thrives around people and shows a gentle, well-mannered side in the home. While he has developed some guarding behaviours around other dogs, especially with toys, food, and space, he remains calm and trusting with humans, happily allowing items to be taken by swapping.
Because of this, Brodie would do best as the only dog in his new home, where he can relax, feel secure, and enjoy all the attention to himself. With the right guidance, consistency, and positive training, he has so much potential to flourish.
Meeting new people:
Brodie happily greets new people; he can be persistent with his jumping up, when he is excited does on occasions bark.
Children:
Brodie has not lived with children but has always behaved well when he encounters them out and about, hence he could possibly live with sensible children aged 12+ .
Dog/Cat test:
Brodie would be happiest as the only dog due to previous guarding behaviours. Despite this, he is well-mannered when meeting dogs out on walks, avoids conflict, and seeks human reassurance. He has also stayed with other dogs successfully in the past and is a loving, people-focused companion.
Not cat tested
Home Alone:
Brodie can be left alone for up to 4 hours without showing signs of separation anxiety and is able to settle calmly when needed,
Vet visits:
Brodie is well behaved at the vet, showing his calm and manageable nature in new situations, even though he hasn’t visited recently.
Travelling:
Brodie is a fantastic little traveller who absolutely loves a car ride and settles well on journeys. This makes him the perfect companion for adventures, days out, and exploring new places with his family!
Handling/Grooming:
Brodie loves being fussed and thrives on attention. He is calm and cooperative when being groomed, making him easy to care for, and even enjoys his pamper time! With regular home-based grooming appointments, he’s used to a relaxed routine and handling.
Food:
Brodie is currently fed wet food and biscuits.
Sleeping:
Brodie is used to sleeping on the bed with his owners but is also happy to settle on the floor during the night, showing he’s adaptable and comfortable in his home environment.
