Her body bore the scars of relentless breeding and years of neglect – advanced tumours, painful matting and the unmistakable evidence of a dog used and then discarded. We knew from the moment we met her that we couldn't save her life. But we could give her something she'd never known: three days of pure, unconditional love. Her story is heartbreaking, but her legacy reminds us that rescue is the hardest and most important work we’ll ever do.
