Meet Pumpkin
Pumpkin is a beautiful 5-month-old sprocker spaniel puppy. She’s full of curiosity, charm, and typical spaniel energy — a joyful little whirlwind discovering the world one sniff at a time. Pumpkin is still very much a baby, and she’s ready for a home that can guide her gently as she grows into the wonderful dog she’s destined to be.

Energy & Exercise
Pumpkin is lively and playful, enjoying two small walks a day while her little paws grow. She’s happiest when running free and has fairly reliable recall. She joins group walks with a dog walker and gets along well with smaller dogs, though she’s a little unsure around larger ones.
She is currently living with a foster family, which she shares with a little spaniel cross and the two are great playmates. Pumpkin finds it hard to switch off during the day and would happily play fetch for hours, but she settles beautifully in the evenings for cuddles and quiet time.
Training & Behaviour
Pumpkin is a blank canvas — eager to learn and responsive to gentle, consistent guidance. She’s picked up basic cues like ‘sit’ and ‘touch’ but her formal training is just beginning. In foster, she’s learned to sleep happily in her crate and is starting to build good habits.
She’s a sweet-natured pup with no signs of guarding or aggression. Like many young dogs, she can nip during play, but it’s mild and easily managed. What she needs now is a home ready to invest in her training and development — helping her grow into a confident, well-rounded spaniel who can enjoy life to the full.

Social Skills
Pumpkin adores people and greets everyone with enthusiasm. She’s confident and affectionate, though she does jump up when excited — something that will need gentle correction as she matures. She hasn’t spent much time around children, but she’s happy to be fussed over. Because of her bouncy nature, she’d be best suited to a home with children aged 8+.

Dogs & Cats
Pumpkin is very sociable and enjoys meeting other dogs. She’s lived with smaller dogs and loves group walks. She loves rough & tumble play although she can be a little too enthusiastic and doesn’t always pick up on other dogs’ signals. She hasn’t lived with cats, but when she’s seen them out and about, she’s shown no signs of aggression or concern.

Home Alone
Pumpkin has always had another dog for company, so she’s not used to being completely alone. When left, she whimpers briefly but settles in her crate. She’s crate trained and sleeps in her crate overnight with her canine companion. If she hears her people nearby, she’ll whine to be let out — she’s a sociable pup who loves to be part of the action.
Health & Vet Visits
Pumpkin is in good health, fully vaccinated, and has no known issues. She’s visited the vet for her jabs and for her health check while in foster, and she handled the experience well.
Travel
Pumpkin travels comfortably in the car, either in her crate or safely harnessed in the boot. She settles quickly and travels without fuss.
Grooming & Handling
Pumpkin hasn’t been to a professional groomer yet, but she’s been bathed and brushed at home and loves both. She’s happy to be handled and has no issues with being touched all over.
Food
Pumpkin eats AVA puppy kibble and shares mealtimes with her canine companion. She eats well and shows no signs of food guarding.
Sleeping
She sleeps soundly through the night in her crate in the kitchen, alongside her dog friend. She’s settled into her routine and rests well.
Ideal Home
Pumpkin is looking for a loving, active home where she won’t be left for long periods and can enjoy the training, play, and adventures she thrives on. She’d suit someone who understands spaniel energy and is ready to invest time in her development.
A home with another friendly dog would be ideal, as she’s used to canine company and loves to play. She’d do well with older children (8+) or in an adult-only household, with gentle positive reinforcement training to help her manage her excitement.
Pumpkin is bright, affectionate, and full of potential. She just needs the right home to help her blossom.
