Winnie was found as an abandoned dog, and when she first came into our care, she was in poor condition. But today, she’s a beautiful, kind, and playful girl who’s truly blossomed in her foster home. Winnie is a gentle and affectionate companion who loves nothing more than spending time with people and other animals.

Winnie’s Personality:

Winnie is the epitome of a typical, loving spaniel – she loves being around people and likes to stay close by, often following you around the house just to be near you. She is incredibly sweet and thrives on attention and affection. Whether you're relaxing on the sofa or bustling about the house, Winnie will be right there with you, happily keeping you company.

Compatibility with Other Pets:

Winnie is currently living in her foster home with other dogs of various ages and even cats! She’s very sociable with other dogs, happily playing with them, sharing the sofa, and even sharing food without any issues. She’s generally calm around cats but may be tempted to chase them if they run!  Winnie would be a great companion in a multi-pet household, especially if there are dogs to play with.

Training & Exercise Needs:
Winnie has an active mind and loves to stay engaged, making her a joy to train. She enjoys working for treats and playing interactive games, and she’s quick to learn new things. When it comes to walks, Winnie is a dream – she loves her countryside strolls, walks beautifully off-lead with excellent recall, and always keeps a watchful eye on you. Her curiosity also extends to sniffing games during walks, making her a fun companion for outdoor adventures.

Though she has a medium energy level, Winnie is equally content relaxing at home and will settle quietly once she’s had her walk or playtime. She’s well-behaved with visitors and loves meeting new people on her walks.

Winnie’s Playful Side:
Winnie is a fan of toys, especially balls, and loves to play! While she’s playful and enthusiastic, she’s also considerate of smaller dogs – though she might occasionally knock them over in her excitement, she’s never aggressive.

The Perfect Home for Winnie:
Winnie is looking for a loving home where she can get lots of attention, cuddles, and playtime. She would be happiest in a family with older children (12+) who will appreciate her affectionate nature. However, she’d also thrive in a quieter, single-person household where she can be the centre of attention.

Cuddles are a must for Winnie – she thrives on human affection, so a home where she can snuggle up with her people will be the perfect fit!

If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will adore you and always keep you entertained, Winnie could be the perfect match!

Ideal Home for Winnie

Winnie is looking for a loving home that will offer her lots of love, plenty of cuddles and attention. She would enjoy life in a home with a family with older children (12+) and equally in a single home without children.  She thrives on cuddles so that would need to be a pre-requisite for any new home!

Winnie has been vaccinated, is up to date with flea and worm treatments and will be adopted with a contract to neuter her at the appropriate time after her next season.
